Club Membership FAQs
Is there a fee to join the Wine Club?
There is no fee to join the Wine Club. By joining the club, you are committing to completing at least four quarterly club orders ( Wine Bottle Club) or 12 months for the Social Club. There is an early cancellation fee of $50 if cancelled before those committments.
What if I am not able to pick up wines during the pickup event?
There are benefits to picking up your wines during a pickup event such as special tastings, exclusive events for members, and socializing with other club members. If you're not able to make it to a pickup event, no problem! Stop by the winery during our open hours within 60 days of the billing date and a staff member will be happy to assist in retrieving your product. If your product is not picked up within that time frame, and no other arrangements have been made with the Club Manager, your wines or vintages will not be guaranteed and you may be asked to exchange your wine for another wine. Note: Wines will not automatically ship out if your account is set to pick up.
Does someone need to be home to receive the shipment?
Yes! Law requires that someone age 21 or older must sign for the package. We recommend shipping your wine where omeone will be available to sign for the package if that option is available to you.
What if I will not be available to pick up my product for an extended period of time? What are my options?
Shipping can be a great option for those who can’t make it into the winery. You may also authorize someone age 21 or older to pick up the wines on your behalf. Another option to consider is placing your membership on hold until you’re able to pick up or receive shipments again.
What if I am not receiving Wine Club emails?
If you’re not receiving the club emails, check your spam filter or junk mail box or your “promotions” folder. If you’re still finding that you are not receiving them, please confirm your email address in your club profile on our website and add club@schramvineyards.com to your contacts.
How much is each Wine Club quarterly release?
Quarterly releases of wine will vary in price and are based on your wine bottle selections. The cost is the retail price of your bottles minus the applicable club discount (15-20%) based on the club you have joined. Reserve and limited release wines are not discounted.
How will I know when the next quarterly pickup is?
Our primary method of communication to our clubs is via email. We send out emails to inform our members of special announcements, upcoming winery events, and upcoming club pickup details as they become available. Please note that if you unsubscribe from the e-newsletter/emails we will not be able to notify you of important membership details.
Can I cancel my membership?
We hate to see you go, but yes, you may cancel your membership without a termination fee after you have fulfilled FOUR of your quarterly orders or billing cycles. Your membership is continuous until canceled. Please note that all membership account updates and shipment requests must be made at least one week prior to each quarterly billing date. Membership cancellation requests must be received through email 30 days prior to the next release. There will be a $50 cancellation fee if your four quarters are not fulfilled upon cancellation for any members signed up after 1/1/2026. Previous cancellation fees will apply for members signed up before 1/1/2026.
All cancellation requests must be made via email by notifying our Club Manager at club@schramvineyards.com. Cancellations may not be made in person at the winery.
How do the tastings work?
Two complimentary club tastings are available every month for the primary member and one guest. Club tastings are limited to one per person per day and they do not accumulate month to month. If you use them, great! If not, they were there for you to use another month.
Club tastings can be interactive bar tastings or a flight of wine and they are available in any areas of the winery, including the restaurant.
