DISH WASHER
This position performs dishwashing activities for the culinary department with primary responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, storerooms, and equipment; including china, glassware, and flatware; washing dishes in the dish room; and transporting food, china, and equipment between storage and work areas.
Event CooRDINATOR
Roles and Responsibilities
This role is a Private Event Specialist for Schram Enterprises. Schram Enterprises consists of three locations including Schram Vineyards in Waconia, Schram Haus Brewery in Chaska, and AxeBridge Wine Co in Minneapolis. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for all customer relations in the process of booking private events at all three of Schram Enterprises locations and coordinating or delegating day of event processes.

Responsible for all client communications with event inquiries and bookings to include email, phone and in-person

Book private events from 10 to 350 people

Cross-sell our three locations private event spaces

Up-sell add-on wine experiences and help coordinate details with other managers and tasting associates

Conduct tours with potential customers and sell spaces and/or coordinate tours with other on-site representatives

Create BEOs for private events

Work closely with GMS and leads at all three locations to ensure all event set-up, day of coordination is done to completion and event success when not able to be on-site

Manage schedule to be on-site at one location for private events or delegate role to another on-site rep

Coordinate with in-house chefs and caterers on catering need for events

Ensure all invoices are sent and paid in a timely manner

Ensure contracts are sent out and signed

Work with day of staff to ensure event set-up and tear down done to completion

Work closely with GMs, Event Manager, and Chefs on event needs with regards to food, staffing needs and other public events happening at locations

Work closely with marketing team to ensure we are marketing spaces in creative ways to help bring in business

Work with vendors needed for private events and maintain relationships

Coordinate AV needs, tents, or other event needs

Provide feedback to team on space needs, table and seating, lighting, etc. to help maintain spaces.

Provide feedback on ways to improve events, pricing spaces, etc.

Do market research of other venues to ensure we are competitive in our offerings and pricing
Be willing to seek out business in creative ways during slower months by working with marketing team, making calls, or finding ways to utilize space

Qualifications and Education Requirements

US Work Authorization

High School Diploma
-
College diploma or relevant work experience

Must be 21+ years of age

Wine and food knowledge

3-5 years events and/or service experience

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Available to work some weekday hours balanced with some weeknights and weekends

SOUS CHEF
-
Assists the Executive Chef and Chef Management Team in planning, developing, and implementing menus and developing recipe cards for menu items.

Preps, cooks, bakes, and/or directs the preparation of food to ensure quality, portion, and presentation to the approved standards, recipes, and procedures.

Cultivates, maintains and trains others with superior knowledge in food and beverage, trends and compatibility, and industry demographics.

Supervises culinary, dishwashing, and other kitchen personnel and coordinates their assignments to ensure economical, timely, and quality food production.

Reviews menus and analyzes recipes to determine food, labor, and overhead costs.

Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly inventories as required for controls and financial reports.
-
Assists in purchasing, preparation, and delivery of all food and non-food items as necessary to ensure quality standards and guest expectations are met and/or exceeded.

Works with the Executive Chef and Chef Management Team to develop, set and execute the strategic direction and goals for the Culinary Department.
LINE COOK

Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications

Plates prepared foods based on the chef's guidance

Responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
-
Assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils, etc. as needed

Uphold our restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
Job Requirements:
